The analysis
When you visit us at Bahnhof Friedrichstraße in Berlin, you start by telling us what matters most to you in your new backpack. What occasion do you want to use it for, is there a particular brand you like, do you care most about size, weight or ergonomics? We'll work through all of these questions together, so we can then pick out the models best suited to your needs. And while looks are of course top priority for many, when choosing the right backpack you should always keep an eye on good ergonomics to protect your back.

Once we've worked through your needs together, we'll show you all the models that might suit you. You can take your time trying each one on and seeing which fits your back best. Especially if you carry your backpack a lot day to day, or plan to take it on longer trips or hikes, it's really important that it fits your back well and is comfortable to carry. Once you've found the right model, we'll show you all the designs and colours – and then you'll be spoilt for choice: something understated, say in black, or something colourful or patterned? We've got the right design for every taste.

How many brands do you stock in your shop?
We carry a total of 10 brands. For most of them we have several models and designs in store, so there's the right model for every back and the right design for every taste.
Where can I take a look at your backpacks?
You'll find our shop right by Bahnhof Friedrichstraße in Berlin, at Georgenstr. 24. We're open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 20:00 and would be glad to help you find the perfect backpack during these hours.
Can I also order backpacks from you online?
You're welcome to order your favourite item from us and pick it up at our shop at Bahnhof Friedrichstraße in Berlin. That way there are no shipping costs and the price stays the same. To place your order, simply get in touch by email at kontakt@schulranzen-Friedrichstraße Station.de or by phone on 030 / 23 00 20 23.
Do you have backpacks for women and for men?
We offer backpacks for women, men and children at our shop. Thanks to their design, many models work well as unisex options too.
Do you also offer travel bags?
For one, we have backpacks that work beautifully for travel – the Onemate models, for example, can even replace your carry-on case. Beyond that, we also stock suitcases, travel bags and travel accessories in store. And for your hiking holiday, we have daypacks for shorter outings and touring backpacks for longer treks.
Can I safely carry my laptop in a backpack too?
Most backpacks these days have a laptop compartment where you can carry your laptop well protected and padded. That makes your new backpack the perfect companion on the way to work or on a business trip. And unlike buying online, you can compare backpacks from different brands side by side with us: you can see and feel the shape, the texture, the material, the capacity and the colour right here in store. Feel free to bring all your gear along and test for yourself whether everything fits!
