Are my children easy to see in the dark with McNeill satchels?

Safety is very important to the McNeill brand, which is why all of its school backpacks are equipped with reflective double stripes on all visible surfaces. This means that if, for example, the light from car headlights falls on the backpack, it is reflected and lights up. This ensures that your child is clearly visible with the school bag even in the dark. For extra safety, there are LED pendants in cool designs that can light up in three stages: permanently lit, slow or fast flashing.

Why should I buy my backpack in store instead of online?

We recommend everyone to buy a backpack, bag, suitcase or satchel in a store and not online. The reason for this is that every body is different and without individual advice, the wrong product can quickly lead to back pain. It is also much easier to get an impression of the different brands, models and designs of the products in store. We do not currently offer an online store, but only sell our products on site. This means you don't have any additional costs for shipping.

Are there accessories from McNeill?

The McNeill brand offers various accessories for school. When you buy a satchel, the set already includes a case, a pencil roll and a gym bag. McNeill also offers magnets in different designs, which you can use to personalize your school bag however you like. There are also McAddys and other motif tags to personalize the look of your satchel. Wir hatten bei Ranzen-Kontor einen wirklich bezaubernden Termin zur ersten Einschulung unseres ältesten Sohnes. Ein besonderer Moment, den sich die Oma nicht nehmen lassen wollte und die den Schulranzen spendiert hat. Die Beratung war absolut kompetent, sowohl was Qualität und Funktionalität angeht als auch in Sachen Rückengesundheit. Es wurde wirklich alles getestet, wie der Ranzen beim Laufen, Rennen und Springen sitzt und komplett auf unseren Sohn eingestellt. Da er für sein Alter schon relativ groß ist, kamen manche Modelle infrage, andere nicht. Genau das wurde fachlich sauber berücksichtigt. Trotzdem durfte er sich am Ende selbst für sein Wunschmodell entscheiden, samt seiner Lieblingsthematik "Star Wars". Ganz besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Verkäuferin Tina, die uns mit sehr viel Fachwissen und gleichzeitig unfassbarer Herzlichkeit begleitet hat. Unser Sohn konnte seinen Namen stolz an die Tafel schreiben und mit seinem neuen Schulranzen ein Erinnerungsfoto mit Urkunde machen. Dazu gab es noch tolle Extras wie eine Sammelmappe, Patches und Reflektoren für den Schulweg. Es wurde wirklich an alles gedacht. Das ist etwas völlig anderes, als einen Schulranzen anonym online zu bestellen. Hier trifft Fachkompetenz auf Herzlichkeit und Empathie, die einen Schulranzenkauf zu einer unvergesslichen Kindheitserinnerung machen. That depends on what you have in mind – and when.

For a thorough, expert consultation on a first satchel, we'd recommend booking an appointment in advance. That way we can take plenty of time, try out several models together and focus entirely on your child – in a calm setting and with no time pressure. Booking ahead lets us make sure the consultation is relaxed and enjoyable for your child, with as little waiting as possible. That's why families with an appointment always take priority with us.

On weekdays in January and February, dropping in without an appointment often works just fine.

For suitcases, adult backpacks, school backpacks from Year 4 upwards and nursery backpacks, you usually won't need an appointment – we're happy to help without a booking there, perhaps with a little wait.
