Kanken

The Kanken Fjällräven backpack from Berlin is the perfect companion for everyday life. Whether for school, work, day trips or travel, the Kanken models keep you covered. They're designed to last and are made from hard-wearing materials. The Kanken Original is probably the best-known Fjällräven model of all. The Original has a main compartment, a front pocket and a removable seat cushion. The Kanken Mini is a mini version of the Original with long shoulder straps, so the straps adjust easily to the size of an adult or a child. The Kanken Laptop 15" also has a separate, padded 15-inch laptop compartment, while the Kanken Laptop 17" features the same kind of compartment for a 17-inch laptop. The Kanken no. 2 is made from hard-wearing G-1000 HeavyDuty, with carry handles and details in high-quality leather. You'll also find the Kanken Totebag in our range, combining backpack and shoulder bag in one. The Kanken Black models are available here at Bahnhof Friedrichstraße too, as is every Kanken accessory, such as rain covers, key rings, shoulder pads and chest straps.

Räven

The Räven models come in two different sizes: Räven 20 and Räven 28. The key difference is that the Räven 20 is a 20-litre backpack, while the Räven 28 has a 28-litre capacity. Both of these Fjällräven backpack models from Berlin have open side pockets and webbing for attaching gear, such as trekking equipment, to the side. The backpacks have a main compartment with a padded laptop sleeve for up to 15 inches, plus a security pocket inside. There are also mesh organiser pockets inside and a fleece-lined pocket at the top of the pack. Thanks to the padded back panel and comfortable shoulder straps, these models go easy on your back. The carry handle is made of sturdy leather.

High Coast

Here on Friedrichstraße you'll find all the backpack and bag models in Fjällräven's High Coast range. The High Coast Foldsack 24 has a foldable lid compartment, removable chest and hip straps and is waterproof. The High Coast Rolltop 26, on the other hand, has a roll-top closure. Thanks to this closure and the sealed seams, no water can get inside. The Totepack is made from recycled nylon and has a fixing point on the front for a bike lock or a small light. This model comes with handles and two different shoulder straps that you can swap as needed. You'll find the High Coast Crossbody with us at Bahnhof Friedrichstraße Berlin too. The Crossbody is a lightweight 3-litre shoulder bag that works as a travel pouch, gear bag or wash bag. It's perfect for little adventures and trekking trips. The final model, the High Coast Pocket, is a small bag with an adjustable shoulder strap that can also be removed entirely if you prefer. The bag has a loop on the back so it can be attached to a belt or to the hip or chest strap of a backpack.

Wir hatten bei Ranzen-Kontor einen wirklich bezaubernden Termin zur ersten Einschulung unseres ältesten Sohnes. Ein besonderer Moment, den sich die Oma nicht nehmen lassen wollte und die den Schulranzen spendiert hat. Die Beratung war absolut kompetent, sowohl was Qualität und Funktionalität angeht als auch in Sachen Rückengesundheit. Es wurde wirklich alles getestet, wie der Ranzen beim Laufen, Rennen und Springen sitzt und komplett auf unseren Sohn eingestellt. Da er für sein Alter schon relativ groß ist, kamen manche Modelle infrage, andere nicht. Genau das wurde fachlich sauber berücksichtigt. Trotzdem durfte er sich am Ende selbst für sein Wunschmodell entscheiden, samt seiner Lieblingsthematik "Star Wars". Ganz besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Verkäuferin Tina, die uns mit sehr viel Fachwissen und gleichzeitig unfassbarer Herzlichkeit begleitet hat. Unser Sohn konnte seinen Namen stolz an die Tafel schreiben und mit seinem neuen Schulranzen ein Erinnerungsfoto mit Urkunde machen. Dazu gab es noch tolle Extras wie eine Sammelmappe, Patches und Reflektoren für den Schulweg. Es wurde wirklich an alles gedacht. Das ist etwas völlig anderes, als einen Schulranzen anonym online zu bestellen. Hier trifft Fachkompetenz auf Herzlichkeit und Empathie, die einen Schulranzenkauf zu einer unvergesslichen Kindheitserinnerung machen. Dafür von Herzen Danke und viele Grüße von Vincent und Familie.

Die Verkäuferin hat uns mit viel Geduld die jeweiligen Vorteile der verschiedenen Kofferalternativen erläutert. Am Ende haben wir uns für einen Travelite-Koffer mit drei Jahren Garantie entschieden, der im Angebot war. Sympathischer Besitzer an der Kasse, der den Eindruck erweckt, dass hier jemand sein Geschäft mit Herzblut führt, „wie früher“ halt. Sechs Sterne! :-)

Everybody is different, so it's important to try out various models and brands to find the product that truly fits you and your body. But if you already know exactly which model you'd like, you're of course welcome to reserve it with us and pick it up in the shop.

Fjällräven offers an extensive backpack collection, from urban designs to models built more for outdoor adventures. In our shop you'll find the following models from the Kanken range: the Kanken Original, Kanken Mini, Kanken Laptop 15", Kanken Laptop 17", Kanken no. 2, Kanken Totebag, Kanken Weekender and Kanken Black, plus the complete range of Kanken accessories. And if a Kanken isn't the one for you, we also stock the Räven 20 and Räven 28 models. From the High Coast collection we carry various bags and backpacks in store too. Do we need to book an appointment for a consultation?

That depends on what you have in mind, and when.

\r\nFor an in-depth consultation on a first satchel, we recommend reserving an appointment in advance.\r\nThat way we can take plenty of time to test several models together and tailor everything to your child,\r\nin a calm setting and without any time pressure. By working with appointments, we make sure the consultation is\r\nrelaxed and enjoyable for your child and that unpleasant waiting times are avoided wherever possible. That's why families\r\nwith an appointment always take priority with us.\r\n
